Total Time To Complete:
Suitable for ages 3 - 12
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 package (10 ounces) marshmallows
- 6 cups crispy rice cereal
- Green food coloring
- 1/2 cup WONKA® Frosty NERDS®
- Bundt pan
Are you ready to be the star of the party when you show up with a crispy rice cereal treat that looks like a wreath and serves like a cake? Whip up a crispy cereal wreath using green food coloring and Wonka® Frosty Nerds®. In less than 20 minutes you and your children can create a festive treat perfect for sharing!
Call the kids into the kitchen and let them help by sprinkling the Nestle Nerds into the bottom of a Bundt pan. The Bundt pan is the key to forming the crispy cereal treats into a wreath shape.
With the help of an adult melt butter in a large pot on low heat. Add marshmallows and continue to stir until smooth and melted.
Once marshmallows are melted remove pot from heat and add green food coloring until it is the desired color – stirring to mix.
Stir in crispy rice cereal until coated.
Sprinkle Wonka® Frosty Nerds® into the bottom of a Bundt pan and then pour in crispy cereal treat mixture. Gently press cereal into the pan.
Allow to cool for five minutes and then flip onto a plate and serve.
Have the children gather around as you flip the crispy cereal treat out onto a plate. Their eyes will light up when they see the green wreath topped with candies. The Wonka® Frosty Nerds® look like ornaments and berries nested in the festive green crispy rice cereal.
